Ground Beef, Broccoli, and Radishes

Ground Beef, Broccoli, and Radishes

The nice thing about having a plethora of vegetables from a CSA is that you have to cook with them and have to find a way to use some unfamiliar ingredients.

Since I was just coming back from Destin, I still had the taste of horseradish from the dozens of oysters I ate while I was down there.

I needed to use the broccoli before it wilted, so that settled two ingredients right there.

I added a tablespoon of coconut oil, a head of broccoli, and three radishes to a medium high heat pan.

I let it cook for about five minutes before adding the ground beef.

Half way through the process I realized that this would be a perfect time to add a frozen cube of pastured chicken liver to the mix.

Finally, I added the pound of ground beef and cooked it all until it was browned. By this time, the broccoli was done.

The meal was slightly spicy and pretty enjoyable overall.

This took about twelve minutes total to cook. Maybe fifteen minutes with the preparation (chopping) of everything.
